Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He was in Australia for a good chunk of the season but came back to do a semester in college. No idea if he's going back to Australia or if he's staying in Ireland but he won't be at UCD next season anyway.
I seriously think we'd be in the playoff instead of Dundalk had he not been around. Our great run over the last 10 games or so coincided with him coming into form.

Finn then Corry then this lad, it'll be someone else next year. UCD will always find another one..

I thought Samir Belhout was a decent striker in previous games (scored the two to equalise in the cup last season), but didn't play well last night.

Poxy decision by the ref to send fabio off .... Ruined the game tbh .
To be fair protesting decisions when you've already been booked is just stupid.

Belhout was pretty anonymous alright. Think both Hugh Douglas and Dean Clarke could be ones to watch in future. Danny Ledwith (especially from free kicks) is quality as well.
Speaking of Corry, he made his league debut against Leeds on Friday. Bit of a change in scenery from playing in front of 300 at the Bowl to playing in front of 100 times that.

Yip - it's about as stupid as booking a player who chests a ball, for deliberate handball, when you didn't see it and didn't even bother talking to the linesman who somehow saw the "foul".

Waterford take a big step to a showdown with Dundalk.

    0-2 at the Flansiro tonight.

1 meaningful shot on target in the whole match. Massive task to overturn 2-0 now on Friday.

How your season turned around is madness to say the least!

Madness would be one way of putting it.. still a chance on Friday albeit a very slim one.

Well I was right about Twigg getting at least one but it was anything but a comfortable win.

McMillans goal was absolutely beautiful. You know a special goal when all the home fans applaud it. Seriously anyone reading this thread, watch MNS tonight and have a look at it. Stunning.

Delighted Twigg got a brace. Was clearly emotional for him he was in tears after scoring the first. Harsh scoreline on UCD. Rovers got very nervous and in truth it was all UCD for the last half hour. Should have gotten a point from it and only for a fantastic save from Oscar that really had another quality goal written all over it. Yellow card was also I think on the boarder. There were two covering defenders but if he'd have walked with a straight red i'd not have been surprised of annoyed either.

Bray are crap and their discipline is worse.

Don't think it was a straight red for Jansson

Not the first time a UCD goal has been roundly applauded at Tallaght.

Yeah that was never a booking.
