Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,

was repairing a broken screen on an iphone 4 for a family member, and when re-inserting the battery in afterwards, the connector on the logic board came loose and has stuck to the battery, looks like this:

From a quick Google, it seems a new one would have to be soldered to the logic board, and unfortunately this would be beyond my level of expertise. Just wondering if anybody here would be able to do this, or would know somewhere reasonable to get this repaired?

    Thanks

    Rob

I did the same thing when trying to replace my daughter's iPhone 4S battery. I did a Google search and found a company in Florida called Florida iDoctor. It seems that they have done a lot of this work as I found many references to them on the internet for this type of solder work. They charged me about $80 or so and I had the repaired phone back 4-5 days after sending it to them. I had not only broken the battery connector but had also pulled off several of the iPhone solder pads. BTW, they were BBB-Accredited as well which was nice.

    Good luck.
