Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The Pete Souza documentary was brilliant too.

He really understands the importance of having his own photographer. He/his team can decide what images are put out of him. I've seen Romney's stuff - all badly taken, 'amateur', 'grassroots' level stuff. It looks awful. Makes the whole thing look amateurish.

Obama's show a nice balance between professionalism, dignity and humour.
You can't put a price on that.

Do all US presidents not have their own photographer, no?

I thought it was part of the package?

Yeah but they only get one 8x10, $100 a pop for a framed 6x4 after that. Jerks !

I'm sure it's a very carefully chosen selection of shots. It's a great testament to what a photographer can do with practically unfettered access to a prominent figure, but I'm willing to bet there are quite a few shots that Souza would love to put out there that he's not allowed ...
