Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does that result answer some questions?

Well weve beat arsenal and spurs away in 3 weeks so i think so.

Still stupid mistakes been made though.

Cechs save from walker was pivotal.

Nah Torres is a hindrance to them IMO . Falcao in there and they'd be a complete package .

Agree re Torres. It is to his credit and a sign of his greatness in my opinion, as a striker whose pace was one of his main weapons, that he is still holding own at this level in that Chelsea team having lost a yard of that pace

Edit: great game also. Mata is class

Mikels best game in a long time, brilliant.

Gallas had a shocker and cost Spurs at least 2 if not 3 goals.

He's costing them goals with his poor play . The chances Mata , Oscar & Hazard are laying on for him and he's only got 4 in the league (yes 4 isn't too bad but it should be at least double that IMO .

    You don't say.
In case you hadn't noticed they were top of the league by 4pts before this game.

Oh they can do better than Torres i know. Would Falcao be right for that mobile Chelsea front spot? Have seen some of him and am undecided on whether he is a target man or a poacher.

Feck sake, with the amount of money and talent at their disposable they would want to be.

Couldn't be more annoyed but sure what can you do! Chelsea deserved the win, spurs should have taken their chance.Sig should have scored at least 2 goals and ade just didn't look upto it. Mata played a stormer, great player! For us I would have said Lennon was our best player, hopefully he can keep that form

Well thats the point - didnt do AVB any good last season

Just shows that you need a good manager to knit it all together

True, but Chelsea have been considered title contenders for years and years now. I was just pointing that out.

In fairness before this season started they were written off, with the aim being just for 4th

Mata immense again today. Great game to watch. Chelsea have to be serious title contenders now.

Expected a loss to be honest... Chelsea at full strength except for Terry and Cahill and Luiz are probably more suited to play against Spurs due to their pace anyway. Spurs were missing Dembele, Parker, Kaboul, Ade, Assou Ekotto, and Bale today which was the difference.

Also starting Friedel was a bad move... Lloris needs to be starting as he is quicker off his line and has better distribution which is what we needed today.

Gallas had another shocker and needs to be dropped. Walker has also had a woeful start to the season and is seriously lacking in confidence. Defoe will get goals but he puts the team under pressure as he cant hold the ball up... We really need Ade back in the team asap.

Sigurdson and Dempsey arent fit to wipe Van der Vaarts boots ... God knows why we let him go and replaced with those two. Also we are struggling for creativity in the centre as well as a CM comfortable in possession... not replacing Modric with Moutinhio is costing us... the whole team looks unbalanced at the moment and we need to do some shopping in January.
