How to dispose of old mattress?

Hello, just wondering if anybody knows how I can get rid of an old mattress and bed? If you turn up to the City dump will they take it?

I don't know about the City dump but the County Council site in Raffeen definitely does take mattresses, even if it's not listed on the website
