Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rosacea

Hi folks, sorry to be resurrecting an old thread here but I just wanted to post my own experiences of rosacea and treatment which may help others here.

My skin has been really red and sore for the past year. I had often had red skin around my nose but it seemed to spread this year and the doctor diagnosed it as rosacea. He prescribed me a steroid cream, Daktacourt. This calmed down the redness for a while but every time I came off it it would return with a vengeance. When I went back he said just to keep using the steroid as it was only a mild dose - terrible advice. Having read up on many other forums it seems that steroids only worsen the condition in the long run which was definitely the case for me having used it for 6+ months almost daily.

Anyway to make a long story short, I came across the La Roche Posay cream -Rosalia UV Riche - through other forums. Despite mixed reviews, I gave it a go & I have to say it has been unbelievable. I also bought the Toleraine facial wash from la Roche and I haven't had any redness since. They were on the pricey side - almost 40€ for the two but definitely worth it in my case.

Hope this helps any of you who are suffering with it, especially coming into a cold winter!
