    Watching Sharon Shannon and orchestra on tv. Enjoying it except when she screeches between tunes. Is she married?

    l dont think so, l know she had a long time partner but he died maybe , 2 - 3 years ago...

    mam is adament here that she was married, cant find it anywhere though.

    Ya, her partner died tragically a few years ago. think she's still single since.
    she's actually a very,very shy person on stage but a "gas woman" if you ever get to talk to her off stage.
    just watched that show where she performed with the RTE concert orchestra. brilliant. she's a legend.

    Just watched her tonight being interview by Gay Byrne. Never paid much attention before because I thought she was just another box player but I was completely wrong. Now and again we are privileged to see and hear a person with something special and Sharon Shannon such a person. Such inner beauty and gorgeous on the outside as well.

    Is she married? Come off it lads, you’ll never get to the head of the queue.
