Smell in town

    In the town here and everyone has the mouths and noses covered with what I can only describe as the worst smell I have ever smelt ! It stretches from the quay to city square up to Ballybricken !

    Anyone know what it is ?

    Yeah I'm on the quay now. Fire sevice is putting out the fire. The whole ferrybank side of the quay is covered in smoke pretty much. Seen two ambulances speed past

    Please don't tell me the firemen are risking their lives saving that dump. Unless they're worried about squatters - but I thought security was tight?

    I've been watching the fire now from the roof window for past while. Seems to be all around the back of the building but it's only now that I can see flames flickering at the top right corner of the building. There's smoke and lights everywhere in the vicinity.

    Just saw another two vehicles driving up the hill so it still seems pretty serious.

    They usually send 1 or 2 ambulances anyway for large fires. doesnt necessarily mean somebody is hurt.

    Pity the damage is at the front, I doubt the money is there to fix the hole in the frontage.
