What do you think of Brogues / Help me choose which boots (Men's)

I am trying to decide between these two pairs of boots:

Brogue boots by Base London:

The indecision is driving me mad so I'm looking for help!

The brogues would be the business with a suit etc but I want something I can wear casually as well.

Do you think brogues are a bit old man/banker sort of thing? I'm a musician and DJ so influenced by that, rock'n'roll/soul music etc. Slim (sometimes even skinny!) jeans, leather jacket etc. Rarely enough I'll suit up, waistcoat, skinny tie, fedora and all that (yeah I know, but I can usually get away with it!). But mostly it's skateshoes, t-shirt, trucker cap sort of thing. I'm 31 btw.

Do you think the brogue boots would be good to wear casually too or should I go with the Jeffery's?

I like the brogues, and they think would look well with jeans. The Jeffreys are lovely too, but if you want to get the added wear with a suit I like the brogues.

Those Dr Martens are pretty smart. Your feet will thank you. Base are no way as comfortable and durable. Doc's will last you years and get more comfortable every day.
Perfect for winter, get some Dr Martens spray for them as well it really saves the leather.

This one looks like a lighter version of the same shoe. The price is very good on both. Boots might be better for winter.

Drunkmonkey, I know what you mean about the Docs being comfy and lasting well, I lived in them all through school, I'd love a pair again but can't afford both. The Base are real leather too and also have a rubber sole so should be decent.

Anyway, I've gone for the brogue boots, just ordered them, they should be here with a week or so!

It's my first time posting in this forum, so thanks for the input.
