Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Right, I don't want to sound like I am brandishing all parts of the city because I'm not. I'd like some input from some locals maybe who might have a different view. Sorry if Corkonians feel like this is an insulting thread to them because that is not my intention.

Basically I'm a Dub, moved down about 2 months ago. Now maybe it's because Dublin City is alot bigger than Cork but I find the amount of Scumbags in Cork city is mad!. I work in the city and get the bus home every night and some of the stuff I've seen is ridiculous. Firstly some lads (not Corkonians mind you, they were African blokes, (no racism intended for you pc brigaders!)) tried to jump me when I was walking home from a night out, not trying to rob me or anything just looking for a scrap. Then last night I had to break up a near scrap between a bus driver and some scummy P.O.S who spat on him for refusing to allow him to ride the bus for free (Thx to the 6ft lads waiting to get on the bus who stepped up to help me defuse the situation....not!). Inbetween these incidents and the amount of pikey's around the city it's seems like the number of KnackBags around Cork City is on a whole different level to back home in Dublin.

Basically my point is back home you'd have your main streets in Dublin where you'd stay away from at certain times because it's full of scummers and they'd usually stick to their spots but my experience (limited I might add) of Cork city just seems to be that these tracksuit wearing, socks over trackie bottom wearing sh*tbirds are everywhere. Just hate the fact that I have to be aware and on the ball 100% of the time that I'm in there.
