Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Replacing dell laptop lid and screen with older model?

    Hey guys!

    So just wondering if you guys could guide me a wee bit here...

    So my laptop slipped off a table today, cracking the screen and giving me that beautiful oil stain monitor to look at. I happened to have an old dell Inspiron lying Around and was wondering if a possible transmutation can be performed.. Ie take the lid and screen off of the old one and connect it to the new one.

    The newer broken one is a dell Inspiron 6400 and the old one is an Inspiron 1300, they have the same size screen but the hinges are different widths so even if it's possible that'll be a hurdle along the way!
