Just wondering for people who live around Dunganstown, if anyone actually lives in the Kennedy Homestead or is it just an empty derelict house, used as a tourist attraction? Does he still have any cousins alive around that area these days? We will probaly here so much more next year to mark the 50th anniversary of his visit. The American Kennedy's don't seem to have much as much interest in their Irish heritage as JFK and his family did. One of Robert Kennedy's grandsons came over to launch the Kennedy Summer School I believe.

Hard to believe a dynasty was born, and came from on old farmhouse in Dunganstown. Must be a very eerie and special place to visit.

Neither eerie nor special. There's little enough to it, to be honest, but you do get to meet a relation!
