I got the garda virus 2 weeks ago and was able to remove it , and get PC going again.
However firefox and IE would crash frequently so I thought something more might be there.

I checked using "tdsskiller" which found an MBR infection.

After this firefox seems stable .

Just wondering if anyone else found this MBR Infection - have looked though a few threads and didn't see if mentioned.

Yeah it does appear to be a MBR infection. TDSSKiller and a tool by Avast is the way to go to remove it, and a MBAM cleanup scan.
