Is there somewhere in the settings on an android tablet to check the spec, like on a pc. Got a tablet for my sons birthday, it comes in a couple of configurations and this one is supposed to be the 1GB version. The box seems to indicate it has 512mb though. Just want to confirm. Cheers

Settings > Applications > Running tab.
Look at the bottom, where it says RAM.

Or simply hold the home button dopwn until you see the task manager, then click RAM.
