Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Folks. I purchased a Siemens RWB27 digital timer for my central heating. I know where to wire the load and neutral but haven't a clue where to wire the wire that turns on the valves and boiler. I have attached a few pictures of the boiler setup if it helps.

    Thanks in advance lads.

Have you installed the system yet? I'm thinking about buying one of these.

No not yet. I'm stumped on where to wire the switch wire. It looks like a good timer.

i assume you are just replacing the old apt timer for the new siemens

    if so
    turn the power off

the 2 neutral wires on apt connect to N on siemens clock(blue cables)
the 2 brown wires on apt connect to L on siemens clock
the single brown wire on apt connects to 4 on siemens clock

when you have done these connections insert a small loop cable between terminals
    L and 2

put the clock back on base plate and turn power back on

    Hi
This is my first post on Boards. I too want to replace an apt with a Siemens RWb27 on a gas boiler, but I have 3 sets of brown/blue connections to the apt, 2 for the incoming power and 4 to control the boiler. Can anyone sort this out for me?

Hi, I wonder if you can help. I bought the same timer and am replacing the same timer as the post above. Problem I have is that it is wired L1 - black L2 - brown and L3 Blue.
I can't get the timer to work on old one so I bought the Siemens one and wondering how to wire it up

Follow instructions in post 4. If you can't follow them you might be safer calling in a sparks
