Learning to Surf in Wales

Hi,want to start surfing but no idea where to go to learn? can waterski and ski so just really fancy a rip on a board, Whitchurch Salop area so presume North Wales- Mid wales, any advise would be good, cheers

Not too familiar with the area to be honest but there is a few surf schools in Wales. These guys seem to be the closest one to Whitchurch: http://www.westcoastsurf.co.uk/shop/articles/contact

Surf schools are probably closed for the winter unfortunately but if you're serious about getting into it (and able to swim of course) there's no reason you can't buy a board & wetsuit and go at it yourself.
