Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not sure if posted already. I came across this on the interwebs.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/sportvideo/9628102/Today-on-YouTube-Bolivian-goalkeeper-Carlos-Arias-saves-same-penalty-kick-three-times.html

You know the drill with penalty kicks: England can't do them, Portuguese keepers that take their gloves off for them are brilliant, and no-one ever really notices infringement.

Not so in Bolivia, apparently, where Universitario had three chances to score from 12 yards after keeper Carlos Arias of Oriente Petrolero was adjudged to have left his line prematurely twice in a row.

Aria kept his head as Edgar Escalante lost his and duly saved his third penalty in a row, finally satisfying officially the most officious set of officials currently officiating in central America.

Some top-tier protesting from Arias' Oriente team-mates too, who held on for a draw.

Surely they should have changed the pen taker for the third one? Keeper was in his head at that stage!

    Pen 2 & 3 were bad pen's
Pen 1 was a good save

Ref trying to make up for the fact they would've scored if he'd played advantage in the first place. Didn't want to chance it a 3rd time though :pac:

Doubt you are allowed if the peno is retaken.

To add to the craziness, anyone else see the dog tearing across the stand behind the goal at around the 1.45 mark?

Bolivia isn't in Central America. Journo should be made to re-write the article again.

Well either they did change or he decided to kick it with his other foot

I read somewhere yesterday that a different player did take the third penalty.
