Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My has just txted me from her hospital there has been a big explosion at a chemical factory in Ballymount. She says the major hospitals in Dublin have implicated their emergency plans which is a big deal she hasnt seen it before. Nothing has been reported on the news this story is only breaking now if I hear anything more before it begins being reported will post about it. She is under the impression its quite serious though the hospitals are prepping for something..anyone close to Ballymount hear anything or know whats going on??,,,,

Doesn't sound too serious from the link above.

The posters here are making this sound a lot more serious than what the news is making it sound. Is it simple respiratory issues for those who were there at the time, or is it much worse?

Someone was talking to someone who knows someone that was down at the hospital.

Exaggeration hopefully happened along the way.

should be off to the Zombie apocalypse forum..........this is how it starts

    EDIT:
Some 22 people were hospitalised suffering from respiratory problems following a blast at a recycling plant in Dublin this morning.

respiratory problems? its definitely the apocalypse

By all accounts what happened was that something on the conveyor in one of the recycling places exploded. Nobody was hurt, but after a few minutes 8 or 9 people working there started to complain of light headedness/pass-out. So they rang the police, who rang the bomb squad as a precaution, and who then cleared the area out just in case.

Havent heard anything more than that.
