Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Limerick Cardiac Unit

    1. James Reilly was presented with a petition last week to force through opening of the new multi million cardiac unit in the Limerick Regional Hospital.

    2. This would enable all patients with a heart problem after 5-clock to remain in Limerick and not be sent to Galway in an ambulance or Taxi. ( thats right taxi ).

    3. All that had to be done was an inspection from the HSA and the unit could be open. Thats right the same govenment body that were quick to shut a garage owner down because of a calander were in no rush to open a cardiac unit that will save lives.

    4. No problem James Reilly happily announced on the radio.
There was however one problem, our Minister for Health was not aware that the HSE had not done any rosters or hired staff to run our new multi million euro cardiac unit.

    5. Result, dying people are queing at an a&e/taxi rank to go to Galway which adds up to €54 million a year according to recent reports.

    6. Make sense of that Reilly
