Just to inform anyone living in Classes lake, An Caislean, Grange Manor estates in Ballincollig/Ovens ares.

There are two guys in a small white transit van going around doing a "great":mad:service for €100 and then once done they charge €200 (this happened yesteday in Ovens)....apparently the guards are looking for them:D. They are also targeting grasses in eve shoots also...you have been warned.

They called to my neighbor yesterday & said they were from Donoghmore but apparently its actually a halting site in killarney that they are from...they have given 3*085 no's so far.

I know this as I am on the residents association in our estate.

The going rate for solicited window cleaning around Cork is usually €20 paid up front, so if you're agreeing to €100 in the first place you'd want your head examined.

Still, keep an eye out for elderly neighbours being caught out by these ****.

Who in there right mind would pay €100 to have windows cleaned? The one thing to do is take a picture of there van including the reg plate and put it on facebook , Itinerants dont like being photographed for some strange reason
