    Hey lads,
Trying to get a home cinema system for a 50' Samsung but don't no much about them. Called into currys and places like dat but thought id try make a proper job of it if possible first. if there are some left of these should i buy the m4's, centre box and sub and then pick up 2 other speakers and a receiver somewhere? Wont be spending mad money but don't mind if i get a good deal like these seem.
    thanks in advance,
    Joe

Any ideas on this John and crew?

    Hi killer.

Sorry for the really late reply.....we missed these posts somehow ! :(

The M4's would drive quite happily from that amplifier, no issues.

Rotel and MA are generally a pretty good match in terms of the type of sound that you get.

Keep us posted if you would like a pair as they are going fast.

    Cheers

    Dave
    Thanks Dave.
I do want a pair and have emailed sales@richersounds.ie to hold a pair till the 19th as discussed in my previous thread. I haven't got any reply though ?
Can you hold a pair for me please. I will also need some speaker cable.

Any chance you have a pair of the M6's and a centre left? I'm perfectly happen to take any open box/demo ones (even those with damage) if it's reflected in the price! :pac:

Hi John and crew, would the M4 run well with my Onyko TXSR-608 which I purchased off you previously, I have the Monitor Audio Radius HD 7.1 set for cinema but thinking of the M4 for just music. If you think there's little to be gained versus current setup (think music only) then just let me know.
I think the M6 would be too big but if some left I'd appreciate your opinion on suitability of those also.
    Your's forever poorer!!

    Hello!:)

    Hi Slave.

The M4 speakers would have a much lower bass responce than the Radius range of speakers.

Would the M4 be replacing 90HD's or the 270HD floorstanders?

    HI Tragedy.

I have one pair of the M6 speaker left which we had on display in our store.
They are in as NEW condition and come with their original box. However the Boards price would be the best I could offer on these as they are already at a crazy crazy price :D

The Centre speakers will be arriving this week and are all BRAND NEW BOXED.

Let me know if you would like the Last pair of M^'s held as they have sold out super fast.

Hi Dave, thanks for getting back, the M4's would be standalone speakers for just music through "zone 2" terminals, existing 7.1 setup would be unaffected as they are purely for cinema.
When you say lower bass response I assume you mean more "uuummph" on drum and bass?
Finally, would you consider listening to music through the M4s as an improvement on my current front pair of R90HD and R370sub, that's really the piece I'm after.....
    Thanks again

    Recieved this morning.
If you are thinking of upgrading a set of bookshelfs and you haven't bought these, then why not???

Replaced an old set of tannoys on a rotel 05 amp and cdp.
I'm embarassed how long i persisted with the tannoys when i hear the sound out of these.:o
Where on earth you will get a better deal on speakers at this price I don't know. Do yourself a favor and buy them!;)

    HI Slave.

The M4 speakers will give a far deeper and lower range of Bass over the 90HD's and would sound much more fuller for stereo listening.

However the 370HD sub being a sub would delivery a lower bass tone than the M4's.

Although I feel that the M4's would be a very good common ground and still have the edge for stereo listening for 2 channel audio.

    HI Joe.

Not sure if anyone got back to on the above?

Going for the M4's, center and sub would give you the start of a very good system indeed. This would allow you to build the rest around this as you feel fit.

At these prices you will not find anything similar anywhere ;)
