Just wondering has anyone out there (echo echo) tried one of these machines http://www.beermachine.com/

Seems like the job, would love to brew beer but dont have the space so this looks good, but is it?

Its a bit of a gimmick really. They had them (or very similar) in dunnes last christmas or the one before.

For the same money you could get better equipment giving more per batch.

You can do very basic brewing experiments really cheap. Cheapest would be dumping yeast direct in a bottle of apple juice to make cider. it is handy to have all the equipment but not essential.

    home brew forum here.

groupon have had good deals where you can go to a class for a few hours run by a homebrew shop in dublin.

You do not need massive amounts of space, most brewing kits are based on 25L batches. I have a 15L container and do half batches.
