Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Helluva result for Cape Verde too knocking off Cameroon to reach the finals too.

Uganda almost made their first finals in 35 years, but they lost on penalties to Zambia :(

As an Arsenal fan, I hope the Ivory Coast go as far as possible.

    Then a little but further.

Working in Nigeria at the mo. They are not very confident at all about their chances but they did well to get Victor moses on board and they have a decent enough squad.

Can see an African player of the year coming to Moses, he's been very good in this tournament. But imo in general the standard of football in Africa seems to be sadly regressing.

I doubt the massive swarm of insects helped either.

Glad to see Burkina Faso fight back after that travesty of a decision for the early penalty.Surprised Ghana managed to convert it now looking at their efforts in the shoot-out,Shocking display.

You could pretty much see individual tufts of grass. It looked poor even by African standards and for that region of South Africa where grass is difficult to maintain. And Burkina Faso have played several games on it:eek:

Ghana should've been beaten in normal time and extra time going by the chances Bance alone had and missed.
