Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It won't connect for me. I get the message 'Please make sure the dongle you used is in 3G dongle support list'. There are about 20 on the list but I don't know which one to choose? Anyone any idea?

    Tethering how? USB, Bluetooth, Wifi?

You should be able to set the phone to tether wifi and just pick it up from the tablet as a wifi router.

If you have a jailbroken phone then you can install PDAnet on both devices, that should work with USB too.

I don't know the asnwer to the original question, which to choose, so this is a workaround.

    Thanks. Unfortunately it's not jailbroken.

It should work fine, works fine here with iphone and Nexus 7.
Switch hotspot to "on" in iPhone, search wifi network on tablet, enter password, that's it.

Great, thanks I'll try that. Will it work even though I'm on 3G when tethering?

It's will work but there is usually a different charge outside your data depending on your network
