I am hopefully just about to start off in the sport of Archery and woudl like to ask if there are any "Bricks & Mortar" shops in Dublin where Archery equipment can be purchased. Also if there is a reputable resource for picking up secondhand Archery equipment?

I have seen the list of 4 recommended retailers in the last post of the charter, but these appear to be UK based at least.

IMO it is nice to be able to look at, and touch this type of equipment before buying and talking face to face with knowledgabel sales folks is a great benefit I find.

Is a certain "Fishing Tackle" store still in operation in Temple Bar and how is it thought of in the Archery community as a place to purchase equipment?

Of those three, the only one I would use is Flybow. But that's just my own personal choice. You will find that the UK based shops are very good and are more than willing to go through anything you need to know over the phone.
