    Hi,

    Just order 2 tablets off hongkongeek.com so I thought I'd start a tread on my experience with this site as I could barely find anything. Ill update as it time go's on.

    Now first thing is i selected the wrong cables so I emailed them;
    saying;

    I selected the wrong cable USB 2.0 TO MINI USB PORT CABLE . I wanted HDMI CABLE - MINI HDMI 1.5M. So could i get 1 HDMI CABLE - MINI HDMI 1.5M instead of two USB 2.0 TO MINI USB PORT CABLE. Please

    So still waiting for items to be dispatched. Sent them another email today (2012-10-25 08:45:22  );
    saying;


    It's been nearly a week since I order my items and they still haven't been sent. I went with dhl because I needed them soon. So.what's going on? When will they be sent?

    So, sorry for my late reply but I got my tables within fours days after they left hong kong. Everything is working well. Down fall there are some stupid Chinese app.

    Well I'm was very happy with them and there was no costom charge. But that's cause it didn't get stopped

    I've ordered from them a few times now, for a while, just over a year, when the whole site was in French. Since then, they have changed a lot for the better.
    They are good, and can confirm they are trustworthy.

    The way they work:

    1. Take Your Order.
    2. Confirm it.
    3. Test Equipment
    4. Preparation (Can take a few days longer at Christmas, or when heavy backlog), Package and Dispatch
    5. You receive tracking number (Sometimes), and confirmation it has been sent.
    6. Usually arrives within the same working week.


    I have never received a damaged item, but accidents can happen, especially when there is a large amount of items being delivered (Christmas), This may be worth a glance over for anyone. (Same applies to most companies, Chinese or otherwise)
    Article 8: Shipping and Delivery All our products are mainly sent from China. Therefore it is possible that you go through customs clearance. The delivery time includes the preparation of the package and the delivery time according to the carrier. Note that we are not responsible for a loss or a late delivery of your package caused by a third-party carrier company or by you. HONGKONGEEK.COM uses EMS (Express Mail Service), DHL or China Post as carriers.
    You can find all details regarding carriers on this page "Delivery - Shipping charge". Shipping fees and delivery time will be indicated during the validation process of your order.
    HONGKONGEEK.COM can not be held responsible for damages happened during the shipping. Before signing the receipt, please check carefully the package. If you find that the package is damaged, opened or refurbished, refuse it. Then contact the customer service (contact form) as soon as possible, we will help you with the steps to follow.
    In case of address error from the customer when placing the order it is necessary to wait for the return of the package to the sender. On receipt of the package, HONGKONGEEK.COM will give you two options :
    • Option 1 : After correction of the address, a new package is sent. Shipping fees are at the customer's expense. (DHL fees if any, and 15% of the price of the product(s) postage not included.
    • Option 2 : The order is refunded without any shipping fees and deduced of 15% of the amount of the order, shipping cost excluded.


    They are my choice when ordering from China, as they include the VAT in the price. Makes it a lot easier then hoping it'll skip by, or having item returned until you have payed etc..

    Has anyone returned a faulty item to HongKongeek? How did you get on? How long did it take to get the item back?

    My cube u30gt is making a clicking noise when charging and the tablet is totally dead. The charger is not the problem. Am a little nervous about sending it back to China but I suppose I have no other option.

    Bought 3 phones from them. Fast delivery by DHL

    1 Star N9330 - GPS doesn't work. Lovely phone otherwise.

    2 Titan phones. Both with a lot of non removable Chinese Apps. Batteries only last a couple of hours. Useless really.

    No replies to complaints or emails.

    Tried to leave feedback but it wasn't published.
