Can you do that or do you need a specific reason to ask for a receipt of payment for your rent? Just a question I had and I thought I'd see if anyone out there knew. Thanks :)

We send our tenants receipts every month once we get the rent

You need to get yourself a rent book for the landlord to sign every time you pay the rent

Where might you get a rentbook? Government publications office? Or can I just use anything?

I think you can buy them in a good stationary shop, Reads, Eason etc.

Easiest thing to do nowadays is just pay by bank transfer/standing order. Leaves all the trail you could want.
