Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Its with a sickening feeling in my stomach that i have to post the passing of a very dear and long time friend Mark....Died suddenly at home.
    Mark ,brother of Eddie Doyle, some might remember Eddie from his racing days in mondello..
    Mark was into the classic bikes lately and only just picked up another "project" bike at the Stafford show at the weekend
    He will be greatly missed by us all as he was like a brother to us...
    Thoughts are with his family at this time...

    OP I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your friend.. Its always a shock if they're close.

    I lost a friend two weeks ago, also suddenly ~ LJ of The Gypsy Rose bar RIP.

    I'm assuming your friend was a biker... A biker funeral will be bitter/sweet, you'll be heart broken for the loss and gladdened by a show of bikers, it does take the sting out of it.
