    FALLEN RULE
Fallen Rule are a rock and roll band hailing from Dublin, Ireland, led by singer, guitarist and song writer Scott Glennon. The band was conceived while he was lead guitarist with much-loved Dubliners, Mainline, with whom he has toured Ireland, the UK, mainland Europe and the US, including festivals such as Oxegen and the South By South West music showcase in Texas.

After a chance hearing of an online demo at the end of 2011, New York-based engineer and producer, Fernando Loderio (Paul McCartney, Vampire Weekend) offered to record and produce Fallen Rule's debut album.

Two months later the Venezualian-born Loderio landed in Dublin and moved into Glennon's family home, which had been cleared out to accommodate the making of the album. The pair got straight to work on the track that had won Loderio over and was to become the first single - 'Let not people be your foundation'.

While playing around Dublin as a 3 piece had allowed the songs to formulate and grow, Glennon had no intentions of limiting the record to a small sound and called in friends and fellow musicians to add strings, horns and even a 20 piece choir to bring his efforts to fruition.
The resulting album embraces rough edges and raw vocals, with songs that talk of broken hearts, human flaws and are unashamedly hopeful. Folk-infused rock and roll pays homage to the story-telling ache of the blues, where voices calling for new beginnings find their footing with touches of Gospel. Above all is a sense of momentum, a propulsion and need to move forward.
Back in the studio with a new line-up and album in hand, Fallen Rule is getting ready to take the songs on the road and spread the good word.
The album is now streaming on Soundcloud, and the first
single ‘Let Not People Be Your Foundation’ available for a
    free download. https://www.facebook.com/fallenrule
