Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That is a load of ****!

    Fúcking referee/linesman!

I reckon that was ruled out for Coates climbing on Jagielka. If it was for offside then it's a ridiculous decision.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 936 ✭✭✭Prick!

No offside but Coates was litteraly perched on top of the defender.

    Disgraceful decision

So then Liverpool robbed by a linesman (and some dodgy defending).

Serves him right for the stupid celebration antics. Laughed hard when the replays showed how he was onside....

Not offside in million years. Looks like free out though.

    Cant complain.

Ya, I'd say it was ruled out for Coates being all over the defender

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,655 ✭✭✭El Inho

    1. Everton were all over us for the second half, so a draw is fair.
    2. Football isn't fair, and for once it looked like we were going to benefit from that only for a disgraceful decision to be made like that. I actually get the feeling that officials see Suarez and say sure he must be offside, or he must of dived. Disgrace. Sick of this shíte calls week in week out.

It was an obvious foul from Coates on the back his hands pushing down on the defenders shoulders, correct decision

Yeah, because that's the way football should work, alright.

Rogers criticises officials then has a goal wrongly ruled out for offside in the last 30 seconds=lol. Half of Merseyside is stocking up on tinfoil as we speak.

    "It's a conspiracy Joe..a disgrace!!"

Do you not think it was a good call to give a free out for Coates all over the defender?

Even though it was only a draw, i still think this will be our year.

It was clearly ruled out for offiside.

Be interesting to hear why the goal was ruled out .

I think ref gave the offside call, then realised it may have been wrong and said it was for a Coates foul to cover himself and the linesman

Are you serious? You do know that you do not just have to type something for the sake of typing something don't you?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,661 ✭✭✭Fuhrer

From what I could hear of the Ref and Saurez at the end, he said it was for a foul not an offside.

Coates was fouling the defender either way so the goal shouldnt have stood.

    I'm aware of that.

Where were Liverpool from the 45th to the 80th minute? Or were you away?

Offside,, But now being given for foul to spare blushes of lineman
How nice, Poor lad, would not want to make him feel bad,
    !

Will have to see the replay a second time to see the climbing

EDIT: Overall can consider ourselves lucky to get a draw imo. Everton the better team for 65 minutes.

The linesman had his flag pointing towards the box, that signals an offside. Its not rocket science lads.

Yes, they ruled out a goal that should have been ruled out, conspiracy from the officials is obviously the reason...

Some posters were onto the ref already and apparently it was coates fouling and not the non suarez offisde.

It was a foul on Jagielka. How do you know the ref didn't make the foul call, making the offside call irrelevant?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,414 ✭✭✭Lord Trollington

Jagielka never got off the ground, he was flat footed backing into Coates. 999 times out of 1000 they are never given.

I've seen goals like that every weekend given and all is said is the defender should have done better.

Funny how a lines man opposite side of the pitch is able to give it though.

He was shaking the flag though like they do when a foul has happened on the wing beside them. Suarez was so onside he was almost obscured from the linesman's view. I think he flagged for the foul by Coates as it was so obvious
