Christmas Work Night Outfit

Need advice. Gotta go to Xmas work night and need style advice. Would love to be prepared (for once) & wear a dress (for once!) Mid 30's, size 12 and classy look is what I am striving for-nothing above the knee. Suggestions very welcome.

P.S Sorry this is so early but, like I said, would love to be prepared

What shape and height are you? Have you a budget in mind? More information would be good.

Possibilities below. Some are over the knee on the models but will be longer on the average woman.

And I've had my christmas party outfit planned for about two months. Just got shoes yesterday so I'm good to go now

Sorry mood...not the first time I've left out info.
I am 5.7 with a slim build & fair colouring. Colour wise, I am not adventurous and the key look I am aiming for is classy. I am renowned for appearing at these functions in smart jeans & dressy tops but this time around I want to make an effort. Cheers, as always

sorry mood (again) I was just referring to the request for more info & only got chance to look at your options after posting that info. I really love the olive asos dress but will steer clear of the dresses above the knee-i have terrible knees!

On Asos they state the height of the model so dresses might be below the knee on you. Most models are above 5ft 7". Most of these models are 5ft 10" and over.
