    Hi,

I own the .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz and .co.uk of the same domain. I'll be developing the sites one by one over the next few years and would like to place a link to the other 5 websites on each site. Does anyone know what the repercussions good or bad of this are?

...no, don't do it. Build decent websites and that should be a good start.

The topic of interlinking sister sites was previously covered in another thread, which goes into a little more of the nuances of it than simply reading the 'rules' as laid down by Google. It may or may not be of some help in relation to that part of your query.

There really isn't enough information in the post to give a reply specific to your situation. It really isn't clear either why you might pursue the course of action you're currently planning on doing, so very difficult to answer in relation to it.

If it was all ccTLDs you were planning on developing, we'd be able to make some educated guesses on why you're looking at producing multiple related but separate sites. However given that you're looking at 5 independent yet related (assuming they are related, given the fact that they're going to be under the same name) gTLDs it really doesn't make much sense on the surface of it.

The only suggestion I can give given the limited information is to either produce a single site that gains all of your focus and attention (marketing 6 sites is a lot harder than marketing 1) or else to give each site you intend on producing a unique and individual name so that you don't end up confusing your users (having individual sites only differentiated by TLD isn't a good marketing decision).

The repercussions of this are dramatic and are clearly in breach of the Google website guidelines

So do not create multiple sites with the same content
