Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    What makes You think they are any different to the resT? If they were, why didn't they voice their concerns when EVERY SINGLE TD voted a week off last week??

    What this country needs doesn't exist IMHO.

    Dail Eireann wasn't sitting, but committees were still running and TDs still have lots of work to do outside of the Dail.

    I can see your concern if you think of being a TD as a traditional job where, when the office is closed, everyone has a day off.

    I'm pretty sure coziness between regulators/politicians and businesses and cartels work to their exact definition in Ireland.

    I think the country would be much better for it if they didn't :)

    Although Ireland has essentially hit rock bottom, SF will find some way to further burrow us into the parent rock. As mentioned what this country needs doesn't exist, a strong willed party with sound economic ideas. Not a bunch of people pleasers.

    Yeah, they're doing such an amazing job in Govt. in Northern Ireland. And Sinn Fein doesn't live in the past?

    Eh, they only take the average industrial wage, not the minimum; and the money goes to developing SF as a party. Nobody ever said it went to charity.

    Meantime, those unfortunate enough to be on the dole, and hoping for some earnings over Xmas, are running into a red tape nightmare:

    And dear oule Kenny doesn't know the rules of DE:

    Where does it all stop??:mad::mad::mad:

    This is a pretty clear case of hearing what one wants to hear, rather than what was actually said.
