He has no game this coming weekend but I suspect that he would have been suspended for his performance Anyway.

You can be suspended from places of work while investigations are taking place.

Yeah there was an fa statement earlier saying him being involved would put unfair pressure on the teams in games he is officiating.

The complaint about Clattenberg should overshadow the stewart getting attacked/injured.

He was actually sacked as a matter of fact. Issue with debts and sending emails to people that were deemed threatening. He appealed, though, and had it reduced to an eight-month suspension.

I've seen numerous interviews conducted in English with Mata, dude speaks fluent English.

I don't buy it, unless Clattenburg was being deliberately condescending or was feigning a lack of comprehension to avoid the discussion.
