    Rammstein - o2
    Sleep - Button Factory

Om would have been there too if had not been on fecking arthurs day and started filling up with teeny booppers for the disco after it ...if you watch the vids all you can hear is yapping at the quiet parts.

Still have about 4 more gigs to go to before the year is out, but it will probably be Rammstein.

I've waited so long to see them, the music was great, the show was great, and the gig was just everything I hoped it would be and more.

UFO in the Academy last March. Great gig.
Also really enjoyed Dan Baird (Whelans), Horslips in the NCH and Jason & the Scorchers (Whelans)

For me if I was to choose band of the year I'd possibly go with Machine head caught them twice including the Olympia date which was highly enjoyable but let's state the obvious.... Its Rammstein for gig of the year what an incredible night, will most likely catch them at Download this year but as amazing as that should be prob won't compare to the spectacle of the indoor show. Sickened I didnt get another date in at the time so so good.

I'm gonna say Machine Head @ The Olympia

But I'm also gonna say Guns N' Roses @ The 02 in May, maybe an unpopular one sure, but they came back and gave the best set they could given their previous "allied concerns" with Dublin and it was the 20th Anniversary of Axl's appearance at Slane

    Nuff said.

Best gig of the year? Yes. Best gig I've ever seen? Yes.

It was a very special gig indeed.

Now I have to vote for anthrax, what a gig that was!! Brilliant set-list, intimate venue and the band were amazing, especially joey!

Muse at the O2. Still epic despite the dodgy set list.

This and Uprising were the highlights for me.

Gotta go with Anthrax at The Academy. Band giving it their all; no fancy lights or pyros, just the band and the crowd really digging it!! \m/

Yeah I think we can comprehensively now conclude that Rammstein are rubbish live.
