Advice on NZ for a potential new comer anyone?

    Hi Y'all!

    My Boyfriend & I are planning on going to NZ for a year on a WHV.I work as a Loss Adjuster in Insurance & he is a Bank Manager and was wondering about job situation etc.I have looked on website's but wanted to know because of the type of visa we will be on will will it make obtaining employment harder because it's only for 1 year? Usually what is the time frame for securing a job once landed (I will be sending off cv's a month before we leave), not sure if this will make any difference seeing as we wont be in the country?
    Just want to be sure before I land over there and it's going to be difficult?

    Any advice is greatly appreciated!
