Antiperspirant for the body and deodorant only for the clothes is my little rule. How do you go about it?

I just douse myself with petrol, everyone loves the smell of petrol.

Antiperspirant only. Don't like the smell of deodorants.

antiperspirant stops sweat from exiting the body .... deodorant covers the smell up with a stronger smell.

Talc !! ...its the way forward (and as a guy you smell like a baby - which is what women want)

    what's the difference?

I didn't realise until recently enough that most guys deodorant is either deodorant or anti perspirant.
Most girls ones are both combined.
    Bit strange.

Antiperspirant, with after-shave if I'm heading out.

You know women so well. You're right - we all want man babies.

Never knew there was a difference. I don't sweat and I smell manly so don't need them.

The question is not which do you prefer, the question is WTF is with the lads that wear none? Often stood in a queue with some bagowhiffs in front of me, usually wearing a polyester shirt, with a bang like a shot of mace coming off their pitts. Do these fellas not have families? I'd get the non-too subtle -"get in and have a shower, ya smelly munter" if I went to go out like that. YA STINK - PUT ON SOME B.O DORANT, FFS.:D

A Swedish man walks into a chemist’s and says, ‘I would like to buy some deodorant please.’
    ‘Certainly, sir,’ says the chemist.
    ‘Ball or aerosol?’
‘Neither,’ says the man. ‘It’s for my armpits

I only use anti-perspirants, and only ones with very "clean" smells, stuff like nivea sensitive, they basically just smell like talc or soap or whatever, deodorants just mask the small of sweat and I think they smell cheap and nasty. I use a nice aftershave for my smexy smelling needs.

Has anyone tried Mitchum? It is amazing.

That stuff is great. Far superior to Lynx, Sure etc.

That wouldn't be hard - even cheap air-freshener smells better than Lynx.

Never heard of it. Is it widely available?

Or a 'turkish shower', as it's known in Germany? The ritual of covering sweat with Lynx and all that crew to mask the smell.

You put deodorant on your clothes?

Well not physically put it on them but I may spray a little bit on.

I find Joe Duffy deodorant (Sure) the most efficient

    Lynx - AKA - Knacker's Shower.

You should ditch the Lynx, use a non-perfumed anti-persperant & invest in some nice cologne. Deodorants make you smell like a teenager's bedroom.

Yes you can get it in any supermarket now. If not, most chemists have it in their antiperspirant section.

It is probably the best stuff on the market. It is impossible to sweat when it is on.

Antiperspirant for me and a washing machine for the clothes. Bit of bog water if I'm heading out :-)

I usually wear sex panther by Odion, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good.
