Worth cleaning the carpet?

I finally got my landlady to agree to cleaning the sitting room carpet as it's filthy with so long. Sometimes I feel I have to really beg. In the meantime I've decided to move out at xmas. I'm undecided whether to still go ahead with getting carpet cleaned when I'm about to give in my notice. I just sense further drama…

I'm undecided whether to still go ahead with getting carpet cleaned when I'm about to give in my notice. I just sense further drama from her. Maybe it's easier to just not get it done for an easier life.
