Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey y'all,

Set of 02 fzs clocks on adverts that I'm looking at.

My own are a bit wonky to say the least.

I'm pretty sure that the fzs 98-03 are the same bar the front end change from 02+ but can anyone confirm that the clocks will fit a 00?

Again, I'm sure the 04+ clocks have a bigger connection on them. 20 pin v 16 pin I believe.

as it turns out; they aren't the same. woops.

    00 is 20 pin.

    02+ are 16 pin.

of course I found this out after I'd bought them. i know now what they say about assumptions...

I swapped out my 05 clock for a 07 one, had to do a bit of rewiring but it all works. You need to get your hands on the wiring diagrams for both models and you should be able to figure out which cable goes to which pin etc. you might not get 100% of the funtionality on the new clocks but you might be able to get the important parts. Now saying all that, the ECU is probably diferent on each one so it might be harder to figure it out than it was for me.

    good luck
