Sad to hear. was also on it when she was in Galway. A beautiful ship, and sad loss of life.

The situation reminds me a lot of the sad story of the original Pride of Baltimore, which was lost in a White Squall in 1986 with 4 of its crew. The remaining crew survived on a semi inflated liferaft for four days without any food or water before being rescued by a passing tanker.

Why are they calling her HMS as she is not in the Royal Navy ?

She was called HMS Bounty. Nothing to do with the RN.

It was not prefixed HMS at all, it was a replica and never commisioned by the RN. Mistake by the paper.

    RIP to those lost.
