Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    United now at 10/11?

And the lesson is, dont order food until the match is over

How did he get away without a booking? Very possible it should have even been a straight red.

    lol shocking

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,852 ✭✭✭homer simpson

    No, just no.

Why not, he clearly denied a goalscoring opportunity, so can see why it could have been a straight red. It is definitely a yellow card offence all the same and as he was booked should have been down the tunnel.

Can't believe the ref gave the pen.

Was not clear Chance and not last man. Should be off.

Sturridge that is the reason you dont play every week , mata standing on his own in the box and he takes on the shot at a stupid angle

    No, just no.

Is denying a goalscoring opportunity not a redcard now? Good thing they changed that rule after sunday. ;)

    last seconds against man utd?
No such thing as a stone waller.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,852 ✭✭✭homer simpson

That is why sturridge isn't on the starting 11 more often, 2 played standing on the edge of the box in great position to score and he goes for glory.

Ah sure it's only the league cup :pac::pac::pac:

He saw this, everybody saw this! Read the honesty on this thread.

This puts United up to 30 mins extra, just like Arsenal, but a whole 24 hours later.

No way would you see any ref give red for that on any month of Sundays.

You might be just winding me up. If you are then kinda have me.;)

Well it wasn't a clear goal scoring opportunity.

Should have been a second yellow though.

Chelsea have a bright, bright future as long as they can get a striker. From midfield up they look superb!

See the brunette hotty mouthing 'yum' when Macheda got up to warm up. No shame.

As an Arsenal fan i have to say i am enjoying this nearly as much as last night.
This Cup always throws up very good and interesting games and as a competition i like it a lot. Good clean competitive game too from good sides.

Keane is doing very well. He hasn't been that noticeable which means he isn't doing anything wrong to make him stand out.

Would expect a straight red a lot more then no booking at all anyway.

Looked like Rairmes was about turn and shoot. Might need to take a look at it again and will try and do so when I get a chance
