Forgetting the poll was bad, making another absolute monster one is worse!! There is absolutely no need for 18 options...

Why not ? Fantasy Football Scout's poll has 30 options lots of people go with whoever is top in that poll anyway .

Big Deal, you'll get over it.Why does it really matter, some people will agree with you some wont. How about you do the poll next week and I wont complain if its shorter, if its shorter others will complain that there choice isnt there, jeez some people would do anything to start a row

Ya, I reckon the number of potential captains should be capped to 10 names for any GW, and the 'Other' option can look after the rest.

I reckon it'll be Bale for me this week.

I will probably captain Defoe but I have a feeling Adebeyor will get a start soon and it could be this week, so may end up switching to Van Persie.

Anyone with RVP has to have him as Captain this week

Said it on Sunday - new FF policy for me will be to captain RVP from now on unless there's another standout candidate.

It's been a big failing of mine this year to pick the wrong captain and too often I've overlooked RVP in favour of less reliable choices with seemingly easier fixtures

Haha you went back into your original comment to add "jeez some people would do anything to start a row". Good work. I'm not starting a row but I thought you would have noticed that half the poll last week was empty. It's not a big issue anyway, just think it looks a lot cleaner when you have less options.

Think I might do the same and just leave it on RVP, Cazorla has messed me around the last 2 weeks. At least if RVP fails we're all in the same boat.

Haha when I started a poll back a few weeks ago you were the one giving out
arrggg,I hate when other people beside me do the poll, alot of players have been left out here and most people would like to know the percentages, going with suarez myself

    :D

Anyway RVP all the way for me.

Going with tevez,he hasn't set me wrong yet,I know arsenal have been poor lately but they haven't let in many goals either. Don't have rvp but tevez would be my choice anyway.

I do love a good, big poll with plenty of options.

My choice is between Tevez and Bale. Bale did well for me last week and I can't see him doing that for me two weeks in a row so I reckon I'll go with Tevez.

I don't have RVP and I'm hoping the Arsenal midfield will prove too much for United.

I predicted Chelsea's would be last week and, alas, if Chelsea hasn't given United a 2 goal lead, they really showed how poor United's central midfield was until Clattenberg ruined the game.

Had RVP as captain last week then decided to change to Defoe, gonna stick with RVP this week.Strikers tend to score against their old clubs too.

(prays for repeat of 8-2 scoreline)

People without RVP always try to justify why they don't have him but in the end....... they all give in :pac:

I'm not planning on rushing him back into my team.

Tempted to put it on Bale, very tempted!!

But ive been burnt too many times already with captain choices this season so im going to play it safe and stick it on RVP! Between this poll, the FFS poll and another one on one of the other sites RVP is running away with it this week!

No point trying to pick differentials only to be left on Sunday cursing myself like i have been lately ha

These big games, can go either way I'm hoping cazorla scores 1 at least and it ends 1-1 or a scored draw .But that's just me.

Surely Arsenal will just try and sneak a win and will be tight, especially not letting rvp score and redeem them self's from last year.

que the 8-0 win by united

lol in fairness there was no vermaelen, mert or gibbs, a (5th??) choice keeper lol, no arteta, wilshere or cazorla too. crazy, crazy game. sticking away from rvp myself, just worried his old team-mates might get in his face and rvp might do something mad and lash out, putting it on Mata myself, hope i don't end up with egg on my face

In fairness, there are very few of the lads that RVP would of played with for a few years at Arsenal still at the club.

I was thinking about Mata myself. Everton destroyed Swansea at the Liberty and I could see Chelsea doing the same.

Id be very surprised if mata scored more goals then hazard with lampard no longer guaranteed his place hazard will be on penos. Mata currently on one of his hot streaks he had a few of them last season and everytime I brought him in it stopped. Not bringing him in though so maybe it will last . Oscar and Hazard for me.

rvp and rooney is vital in the man utd attacking at the moment.
with the help of valencia and others,
either one will involve in all the goal for man utd.
plus, rvp takes corner, so he can assist as well .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,879 ✭✭✭The_B_Man

was caught up between yaya/tevez against his old west ham. Gave up on Yaya anyway coz hes off form.
then was thinkin between hazard and torres. Gave up on Torres coz, well, u know urself. I think i'll sell him.
then i noticed they were all away anyway, and i always try to pick a home captain (unless Utd are away :o), and then noticed RvP was at home.
    So I chose RvP. Again.

Seriously, we like to think like we're playing this game but really its on auto-pilot.

Ah here that's harsh, not so long ago Fletch was bangin' them in every week, he COULD be a great capt. choice this week, but i'm not willin' to take the risk as i have Rvp, but i certainly wouldn't call it "stupid"... time will tell ultimately. In reality there's not alot between alot of the captaincy candidates this week! not many "standout" fixtures, as we say... Spurs home to Wigan, maybe, but at this stage Bale still has a relatively low ownership, so for many that's not an option
