The Postman Laughed At My Knob Today. . . .

So I was airing out my porch today (left the front door open) when the postman arrived and promptly fell into hysterics when he spied my inside porch door. He said it was the first doorknob he had seen in years, he thought they were extinct.
Granted this is the only knob I have but I thought they were still a common feature of homes around the country.

I would be very interested in finding out how many AHers have knobs.

It's pretty normal for a knob I think, but I haven't got any other knobs to compare it to, I would need someone who has seen a lot of knobs to verify it's normalness.

I'd post pics but I think I read that posting knob pics was against the charter.
