Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    That's some piss poor defending!

So close from Walcott! Great break there.

If Chamakh was challenged by an anorexic midget in the air he'd still fall over.
You'll find no defense from me!

Selfish from Walcott, two in the middle and he shoots from there.

Yeah we got to see Gnabry, that's always good.

You made your point very poorly, I'm not the only one to think you were under the impression that neither player had scored in the league this season.
"Til" is usually a shortened version of "until" which I always assumed was to do with things yet to happen rather than things that have already happened.
It's strange for a football fan to consider any goal "pointless", for each player those goals will have given them a boost of confidence. We need players who are confident in their ability to score goals and make a difference.
It's a **** cup and a couple of players who we're still waiting on to come good when it matters, not when we're 4 down or winning an equally pointless match 6-1.

Handball and over the line and the assistant ****s bricks :pac: Don't think the ref needed to let it go over 4 mins, did he?

Ball looked 90% over the line on the side on view. Ref was right to play over 4 mins, but not that long.

That late substitution cost Reading. Poor ****ers 4 up :o

"Til" is usually a shortened version of "until" which I always assumed was to do with things yet to happen rather than things that have already happened.

I wasn't confused about that, what you said was "How long til Giroud and Walcott score in the league now?" which can read as somebody not aware of the fact that both players have scored in the league as well as COC games. I wasn't the only one to be confused by this either. You've come across as unnecessarily hostile (asterisks in every reply) about this though for no real reason.
It's a **** cup and a couple of players who we're still waiting on to come good when it matters, not when we're 4 down or winning an equally pointless match 6-1.

Well you're the one watching a cup game and posting in a cup game thread, do you expect people to not care when our players score in said cup game?

I wonder how the Arsenal fans who left after 37 minutes feel?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,500 ✭✭✭Fuzzy_Dunlop

    haha
    Henry Winter ‏@henrywinter
Amusing....Giroud and Coquelin threw their shirts into crowd thinking game was over. Had to request them back for extra time!

Any sign of the last sub Arsene?

Probably similar to how Buttonftw felt when we equalised :pac:

And to think I was about to stick a tenner on a draw when they came back to 4-2, but decided against it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,751 ✭✭✭✭AdamD

    Even Chamakh's scored.
