Hi all. Does anyone have any information on this course? How many hours per week/work load etc. Is there much teaching practice in first year?

CAO opens next week, so I'm trying to get as much information as I can.

    Thanks! :)

Hey I do science ed physics and chemistry which is the exact same as the biology course in year one.
There are more hours in this course than some simply because of lab hours. Think for first year there is around 20-25 hours.
TP for first year is just going to a primary school after Christmas and observing fir a week most of the fone the teachers will get you to do something with the class too though.
    Anything else just ask :-D

I'm in Second year of this course. You'll have 5 modules first semester, Biology, Education, Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. It is around 25-28 hours first year, like Phish says. After last year, i'd really encourage you picking it, particularly if you have a background or interest in Science. I have no idea if private messaging is a thing on Boards, but if it is, message me whenever you want more info. ^_^
