Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My next pick is Southampton new boy, Gaston Ramirez.
Linked with several top clubs, it came as a surprise to many he ended up there.

This represents a huge threat on my wings now.

For my next pick I'm going to go for someone I feel gets way more flack than he deserves. He's always dangerous and creates chances and is capable of getting goals too, Gervinho.

Time to add a bit of muscle to the middle of the park and this chap has been impressive since he moved to the Premier League in 2009.

    Kieran Gibbs

Enjoyed a good past few months at left back for Arsenal. His return to the team in March last year coincided with a great run of form for Arsenal. This year he has been an integral part of Arsenal's first choice back four. I don't think it is any coincidence that Arsenal have begun to leak more goals since his recent injury. People will point to his injury record yes, but having played 9 games this season, played the majority of games from March onwards last season, and due back in the next week or two from his current injury - I fully believe he will push on.

Solid, reliable player in excellent form this season when he has played this year.

On the phone so no pics, pretty sure my next guy hasn't been picked, his name is Maicon. Will provide a great attacking influence down the right side.

My next pick is another full back to man the opposite wing, had a long look and didn't see him picked which I thought strange with Gibbs going so might have been picked. Patrice Evra, who has been woefully bad for a couple of seasons now but has looked a lot better in recent weeks.

    Jonas Olsson.

One of the best, most consistent centre backs in the PL. Delighted to have got him at this late stage.

James Morrison. Versatile in centre midfield, attacking midfield or on the right if needed. Will go well with McCarthy and the type of football I would like to play.

Alejandro Faurlin. Qpr's argentine midfielder has it all he can tackle, pass and score. I think he will work very well within my team

Not many quality right backs left so i've gone with the lad that kept Glen Johnson out of the team for part of the year and got a well deserved call up to Englands world cup squad in Martin Kelly.

Time to pick up a nice tidy midfielder who has managed to make himself a regular fixture in Man United's midfield at a young age, Tom Cleverley.

Same as fuzzy, I'm going for a midfielder, a PL legend of sorts, though still currently active in the league.
    Frank Lampard.
Despite his age, Lampard still possesses huge leadership qualities, a sublime pass and a cunning eye for goal.
Lampard fits into and improves any midfield duo or trio and I feel getting him at this stage of the game will be crucial for me.

My next pick is going to be Adam Johnson. Yet to hit his best form at Sunderland but IMO he's one of the most technically gifted wingers in the league.

Angel Rangel. Solid right back at this stage.

Final pick of the seventh round is Matija Nastasic of Manchester City and Serbia.

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQO_0udTs5l9ghGhrdMkmdh6Bx47DP1xM_VC7gAN6TmWkD8BN1M

I've only seen a couple of his games but I've been quite impressed. I'm confident that by the seasons end he'll be first choice center half with Kompany. Himself and Agger give me a really strong center half pairing, both are left footed but I don't think that'll be an issue. He's great value with the 140th pick and gives me a central defence that are strong, pacy and extrememly competent on the ball.

First pick of the legends round.

I need a striker. Who better to take than Alan Shearer, highest premier league goalscorer and best striker to play in the premier league bar maybe Thiery Henry.

    images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTzC0d-HXInjHVmSUHWlUKgyYqkEkwe1bRIMZdvC0HsAjGcD0Q65w

There is very little that needs to be said. Fired Blackburn to their premier league, scored buckets of goals for Newcastle. 260 premier league goals, three time top goalscorer, Euro 96 golden boot winner, broke thirty goals in a season three times and broke twenty goals a further four. All round class act and his leadership skills make him instantly my captain.

    G.K.
    R.B----Nastasic---Agger----L.B
    Sandro----
    ---Granero
    Dembele
    Milner
    Young
    Shearer

That'll do for the time being. I like the shape of the team this far, some real balance and I'm not trying to shoehorn players into an unworkable formation.

Time to add a bit of pace and trickery to the attack. 101 games and 25 goals in the league (15 / 7 in the FA Cup) is a very tidy effort for a winger whose low centre of gravity and quick feet made him a nightmare for defenders.

Won the league, FA Cup and Charity Shield while at Arsenal and he was so good that Barcelona paid a record fee for a Dutch player to snap him up in 2000.
