Hi Folks, I have been asked to produce a manchester united themed cake for a childs birthday next week does anyone have a good recipe for a circle sponge? i am going to put a royal icing on it in the shape of a football (hexagons in red and white) and the team crest any help greatly appreciated

Must mean a simple round sponge cake? Or maybe spherical, like a football?
