    What are "exit polls"?
Sounds like counted votes after the doors have closed. But then by stating that, who cares about votes before doors closed?

Or am I am fool? :o

:) no someone standing outside the polling station asked people a series of questions... usually they are very accurate.

They ask people who they voted for as they leave the polling station

When somebody goes to vote, on their way out of the building somebody will ask them who they voted for, and then they use that to sort of judge the outcome and call them exit polls.

Interviews done as voters 'exit' the polling station.

They ask you 'who did you vote for?' (on voting day, but before the actual votes are counted) rather than 'who will you vote for?' so they are usually more accurate than opinion polls.

Exit poll is when those who have just voted are asked who they voted for. Lots of folks are annoyed by this and refuse to answer., but a lot of people do.

They poll you when you exit the poll booth.
