    What are "exit polls"?
Sounds like counted votes after the doors have closed. But then by stating that, who cares about votes before doors closed?

Or am I am fool? :o

Simply, when voters leave the polls they are asked on their way out who theu voted for. These are then tallied, and are called " exit polls " and give some indication of how the election went;)

People still in line to vote in Virginia.

  • Registered Users Posts: 43,311 ✭✭✭✭K-9

Florida is looking encouraging for Obama with about 60% of the vote in, Virginia less so, but Florida has far more seats (to use Irish electoral terms).

Look at the mannerisms of the Obama people, their facial expressions.

    They know they have it.

NBC. Romney needs big numbers soon or he's finished in Florida.

Obama ahead by 1% and 3% in swing states Florida and Ohio, respectively (according to exit polls).
