Irish politicians don't have magic underpants. Hard to compete with the gene pool wealth in the USA ;)

The Irish vote is epic, I gave a vote to a Green candida,e a pretty meaningless vote and stilll kicked Mary Coughlan out.

    Dependent on how others voted..
And you, no doubt, gave your NO.1 to a FG candidate, or whoever, who is in no way different.

    Speak for yourself.

After 3 days of wear, my underpants have been known to walk by themselves!

Comparing US elections to Irish elections is like comparing Hollywood and TG4.

I'd love to see Hillary, though at nearly 70 she might be a little too old. I've always maintained she would have been a better president than Obama.

Ryan is surely done and dusted after tonight.

I know he has his old job but in presidential terms he has to be toast.

BBC just said that Florida is within 0.5% which is the recount limit .

Hilary was very unlucky to come up against Obama in 2008. She would have won the nomination (and most likely Presidency) in most years. Maybe she will have one more go in 2016.

Romney's not far off pension age himself. Although in fairness he has weathered well.

That was a bit of an anti-climax. Irish elections are way more craic, they make a weekend of it. Barely have a bottle of wine drank during this count
